President/CEO Monique Toussaint is a lifelong investor. She invests time, passion and creativity into helping our clients explore their interests. Passionate but humble, our fearless leader has been nominated for several awards. Most recently, she has received the 2013 President's Volunteer Service Award: Martin Luther King, Jr. Drum Major Award for Service and was one of three finalists for the Thursday Network's Luminary Award at their 2014 Inaugural Spirit of Service Awards Ceremony.
A firm believer in education, she holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington, DC, a M.A. in Education and Human Development from George Washington University and is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) by the National Career Development Association.
Finally, she embodies a servant leader. A Past President of the Rotary Club of Dupont Circle, she exemplifies Rotary International's motto Service Above Self and has served as the Professional Development Chair for the YWCA National Capital Area's Young Women's Leadership Council.
Creative not only in thought but in deed, she has:
- Served as a Career Coach at the National Black MBA Association, Inc. DC (NBMBAA-DC) Chapter's 2015 Pre-Conference Career Expo;
- Led a vision planning workshop at a NBMBAA-DC general body meeting;
- Developed and facilitated workshops for the Summer Youth Employment Program and the Success Boot Camp;
- Conducted an action planning seminar for the Building Wealth Together group;
- Trained facilitators and facilitated college preparatory curriculum for 6th graders in the Kids2CollegeDC Program;
- Created an interview prep package and facilitated a session at the Prince George's House for Thursday Network: Young Professional Auxiliary of the Greater Washington Urban League;
- Engaged students as a guest speaker at the Higher Achievement program;
- Served as a Corporate Recruiter; and
- Planned college preparatory boot camps and Educate2Educate series workshops for the Women of Virtue Scholarship Ministry at the Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church in Washington, DC.
